This panel discussion will examine maternal mortality rates, particularly among women of color in the United States and the role of midwives, doulas, childbirth educators, obstetricians and labor/delivery nurses. 

Speakers include Tina Johnson, interim director of midwifery practice, education and global outreach of American College of Nurse-Midwives.
