The Institute for Healthcare Advancement (IHA) holds its 15th annual Health Literacy Conference in Anaheim, California. The three-day long event includes sessions on creating inclusive healthcare environments, working with the newly insured, and a basic primer on health literacy. Panels will also examine the specific issues involving online communications and the impact of literacy on public health issues. The conference includes experts from Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Harvard’s School of Public Health as well as state experts from Missouri, Colorado and Ohio.
