How Hospitals are Adapting to a Changing Health Care Landscape

The American Hospital Association is hosting a panel on “How Hospitals are Adapting to a Changing Health Care Landscape.” The event is intended to begin a discussion about innovations in health care that are changing how it is delivered to consumers through hospitals and other caregivers.

Senior executives from Walgreens, Cisco and ClearHealthCosts.com will speak to recent innovations in the health field and their impact on the delivery of care to consumers, including retail, telehealth and price transparency. The second panel will feature leaders from hospitals that are significantly changing how health care is delivered. Author and consultant Adrian Slywotzky, partner emeritus, Oliver Wyman, will serve as moderator. Panelists will include:

·         Barbara Casey, Practice Director, Healthcare, Business Transformation, US Enterprise, Cisco

·         Jeanne Pinder, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, ClearHealthCosts.com

·         Alan London, M.D., Vice President, Strategic Clinical Partnerships, Walgreens

·         Jesse Cureton, Chief Consumer Officer, Novant Health

·         Rod Hochman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Providence Health & Services

·         Pam Sutton-Wallace, Chief Executive Officer, University of Virginia Medical Center
