Titled “Translating Research to Action to Improve the Health of All Youth,” this day-long symposium at Harvard Medical School in Boston aims to “to advance current research and intervention approaches with the goal of improving understanding of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) bullying and its effects on child and adolescent health.” Experts, including researchers, health care providers, local lawmakers, and school officials, will address health disparities in sexual and gender minority youth with an eye toward ways to improving LGBT youth health, boost resilience and decrease bullying. The event will be held at Harvard’s Joseph B. Martin Conference Center from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
