The Gay and Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA) holds its annual conference on LGBT health. The four-day event in St. Louis will focus on how sexual orientation and gender identity intersects with other identities, such as race, ethnicity, religion, socioeconomic status and geographic location.
Panels will look at the impact of identity on health and healthcare access. The conference is the world’s largest scientific gathering devoted to LGBT health issues, according to the group.
