The Policy Studies Organization at George Mason University sponsors the Forum on Health, Homelessness, and Poverty. It will bring together researchers, policy makers and others to examine how to significantly reduce the effects of homelessness on health.
This academic conference brings together policy researchers, policymakers, and those working in the community to significantly reduce the effects of homelessness on health, and to study the relationships among health, poverty and homelessness in an effort to improve policy design and outcomes.
The call for papers is now open. Please send abstracts of 250 words to Bonnie Stabile, Deputy Editor, at bstabile@gmu.edu. The abstract submission deadline is September 4, 2015. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by September 15. Presentations will take place at the Forum on November 5th. ӬAccepted papers must be uploaded to ScholarOne by November 20 for peer review and possible inclusion in upcoming article series.
