The Food and Research Action Center hosts a webinar at 1 p.m. ET with experts on the role of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) on people in the United States with disabilities and the nation’s current food insecurities. This webinar will highlight the current status of food insecurity among persons with disabilities, the role of SNAP in the safety net for people with disabilities, and recommendations for strengthening SNAP’s supports for this population. The webinar will accompany the release of a report, “SNAP Matters for People with Disabilities.”
