The House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a hearing on “Examining U.S. Public Health Preparedness for and Response Efforts to Seasonal Influenza.”
Testifying will be Dr. Anthony Fauci, National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director, Dr. Rick Bight, Health and Human Services Department Deputy Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response and Director of the Biomedical Advances Research and Development Authority at the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, and Dr. Anne Schuchat, acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
