The American Enterprise Institute hosts a panel event to discuss the rising number of mentally ill people in U.S. prisons. The event, “Emptying the ‘new asylums’: A model for moving mentally ill inmates out of jail,” will look at what is driving the increase as well as efforts to address the issue.
