This is the last day most consumers can pay for a health plan that they enrolled in by Dec. 23, 2013. (Coverage would be retroactive to Jan. 1, as long as the enrollment was on time).
This is a voluntary deadline many health plans have agreed to but some states, and some health plans, have earlier dates.
