The National Center for Health Statistics is tentatively set to release a report highlighting selected health characteristics of folks over age 55. The data for the report comes from national surveys taken between 2004 and 2007. According to the release, "findings show that prevalence of fair or poor health status, selected chronic health conditions, difficulties with physical or social impairments, health care access and utilization, and adoption of health behaviors increased with advancing age."
