The National Center for Health Care Statistics is tentatively scheduled to release statistics on the role of international medical graduates in providing office-based medical care in 2005 and 2006.
The study focuses on the role of IMGs "in serving underserved populations and practicing in primary care shortage areas outside of urban areas."
