Health policy is unpredictable in the Age of Trump. This webcast looks at recent developments in Washington, D.C. – and how they affect health coverage in states.

We’ll look at the current state of the Affordable Care Act, and likely changes to Medicaid.

  • Tom Miller is a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, where he focuses on health policy. Before joining AEI, Miller served for three years as senior health economist for the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress. He writes widely on health policy, and has testified before Congress on issues including the uninsured, health care costs, Medicare prescription drug benefits, health insurance tax credits and genetic information. Miller earned a BA degree in political science from New York University and received his JD degree from Duke University Law School.

  • Joanne Kenen, moderator, is is AHCJ’s health reform topic leader and Politico’s executive editor for health.
