The National Press Club’s Journalism Institute is hosting this one-hour workshop on how to perfect ledes and nut graphs. The workshop will:
- Deconstruct the difference between ledes and nut graphs
- Identify common mistakes in crafting nut graphs
- Offer solutions that help an inclusive community connect your journalism to their lives
Julie Moos, the executive director of the Journalism Institute, is the instructor. As the former managing director of news at McClatchy, Moos was responsible for coaching and training reporters and editors in 30 newsrooms.
