Capitol Hill Briefing on Antimicrobial Resistance and the CDC AMR Challenge

The Infectious Diseases Society of America will moderate a briefing on advances to tackle antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will also release results of AMR Challenge – an effort to reduce antimicrobial resistance. Panelists will highlight why antibiotic resistance is a major health threat and how research and partnerships are leading the charge to curb this public health crisis.
