The American Public Health Association will bring together public health practitioners, administrators and partners to discuss next steps after the passage of the Affordable Health Care Act and share best practices in reforming the national health system.
The meeting will build off of the APHA's Summit on Health Reform, which took place in Denver last November. It will answer questions such as:
- What are the implications for the public health work force?
- What infrastructure and IT challenges does the new law raise?
- How can we best achieve prevention and wellness?
- This meeting will address these and many other questions that are critical to improving health outcomes in all communities.
