The 2007 APHA Annual Meeting & Exposition theme, Politics, Policy and Public Health, will examine political and policy themes from multiple perspectives, in the areas of employment, health care, security, race, reproductive rights and mental health, among other arenas.
Public health researchers, academicians, policy-makers and practitioners will present more than 4,000 scientific papers at over 900 sessions, including oral presentations, roundtable workshops, poster sessions and panel discussions. Session topics will explore timely health issues, from human rights concerns in preparedness for health epidemics and disasters to the health care rights of immigrants in the United States.
