The AANS conference will present the latest research in neurosurgery through panels, seminars, and practical clinics. This year’s theme is “We are Neurosurgery.” Scientific guest speakers include National Medal of Science Laureate and Cushing Orator J. Craig Venter, the first person to decode the human genome, Brian Greene, a theoretical physicist and bestselling author of The Elegant Universe and The Fabric of the Cosmos, and MIT Professor Cynthia Breazeal, a recipient of Time magazine’s best inventions award.
