The 2012 RDC Annual Conference, hosted by the Chicago Census Research Data Center, will showcase research from the nationwide network of RDCs – including research using demographic, business, and linked employee-employer data from the U.S. Census Bureau, as well as health data from the National Center for Health Statistics and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. RDC research performs statistical analyses on non-public versions of data from these government agencies.
The Chicago RDC provides an opportunity for researchers to engage in approved projects using microdata from the Census Bureau. It is a collaboration between the Census Bureau and a consortium consisting of Argonne National Laboratory, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Northwestern University, the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois.
