Provisional death counts (table 1, screen 2) are based on death certificate data received and coded by the National Center for Health Statistics and updated periodically. According to CMS, death counts are delayed and may differ from other published sources. It is clear the toll this disease takes on people over 60. Compare with co-morbidities (Table 4) and the correlation is obvious.
