This article explores the corporate agenda behind the rise of so-called workplace “wellness” programs, particularly among registered nurses and healthcare institutions, and how they have not been shown to work though they are being promoted through federal policy. Wellness programs actually shift the burden, blame, and costs for healthcare even more onto individual workers.
