Healing Health Care Reform,’ MSNBC

Healing Health Care Reform was a series of reports and action that Countdown with Keith Olbermann initiated in the wake of the Health Care Reform debate in Washington D.C. The project was hosted by Keith Olbermann on his nightly show, and kicked off after an hour-long special comment that dealt with his experience with the health care system. At the end of his report, he asked Countdown viewers to donate money to a non-profit group that provides high quality health care to people throughout the country. Countdown viewers donated over 2-million dollars to the national association of Free Clinics, and they have staged four days of free health clinics providing care to over 4,000 patients.
