Jane Guiltinan (N.D., clinical professor, Bastyr Center for Natural Health; member of the Board of Trustees, Harborview Medical Center, Seattle) joined Health Journalism 2009's panel on "Complementary and alternative medicine: What's working, what's ahead" to deliver a presentation titled "Naturopathic overview and therapies for menopausal symptons — what's working, what's ahead." In it, Guiltinan discusses the use of naturopathic medicine and dietary supplements for the treatment of menopause. Guiltinan discusses the evidence for and against the treatment and suggests related story ideas. She also provided an outline to accompany her presentation.
