VBID is a methodology for identifying clinically beneficial screenings, lifestyle interventions, medications, immunizations, diagnostic tests and procedures, and treatments for which copayments or coinsurance should be adjusted or eliminated because of their high value and effectiveness when prescribed for particular clinical conditions.
