Telescopic sight (scope)

A telescope, with markings (reticle), such as a crosshair, that mounts over the barrel of a gun and extends its accuracy to much greater ranges.  The scope housing encloses mechanisms for changing the orientation of the lens to line the reticle up with the impact point of the bullet at various distances.
