Fluoride

  • Oral Health

The ionic form of fluorine, a common element. When consumed in water or in tablets, or applied to the teeth in toothpaste, rinses or varnishes, fluoride inhibits the demineralization of the enamel and the bacterial activity in dental plaque. It can also help reverse the decay process by enhancing remineralization of the enamel.
