John Novack, a former member of the AHCJ board of directors, has joined EBSCO Publishing as a medical market development director. Novack, who was formerly a group publisher at HCPro, will be responsible for business development, partnerships, new product development and new market development for EBSCO’s medical division, which provides a wide range of content for physicians, nurses and other medical professionals.
“EBSCO Publishing has been growing in specialty medical information over the past several years, particularly with evidence-based online clinical reference databases for physicians, nurses and therapists,” Novack says. “My responsibilities include identifying partnership and acquisition opportunities, launching new products to complement existing EBSCO medical resources and growing the current suite of products.”
