Contact tina@healthjournalism.com to get your access code.  \n”¯  \nAbout the Speaker  \nSusan Gapstur\, Ph.D.\, M.P.H.\, American Cancer Society\, Inc. \nAs Senior Vice President of Behavioral and Epidemiology Research at the American Cancer Society\, Dr. Gapstur is responsible for providing strategic oversight and planning for all epidemiology and behavioral research activities and is the principal investigator of the Cancer Prevention Study II (CPS-II) and the Cancer Prevention Studies Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program. Dr. Gapstur’s research focuses on lifestyle\, medical and hormonal determinants of cancer risk and prevention. Her research has contributed significantly to the scientific evidence on the role of alcohol consumption\, excess body weight\, and glucose homeostasis in cancer etiology. \nAbout the Journal CANCER is a peer-reviewed publication of the American Cancer Society integrating scientific information from worldwide sources for all oncologic specialties.
