SUMMARY:World Anti-Microbial Resistance Congress
DESCRIPTION:Since its start in 2015\, World Anti-Microbial Resistance Congress has set out to provide a platform for change on both the scientific and economic sides of the antimicrobial resistance space. Few other conferences in this area focus on both of these vitally important facets of the AMR issue and bring the leaders from each area together in one place to take steps toward finding collaborative solutions that optimize the best of both worlds.  \nThe World AntiMicrobial Resistance Congress gathers key stakeholders from government\, funding agencies\, pharma\, academia\, hospitals\, and payers to discuss the answers to all of these questions and more. The AMR review presented the world with a series of recommendations on how best to tackle AMR; now it is up to the stakeholders in these industries to come together and facilitate the implementation of these actions. \nThis conference presents solutions through key notes\, case study presentations\, expert opinion\, roundtable discussions and invites key influencers such as BARDA\, NIH\, FDA\, grant agencies\, pharma\, hospitals\, and academia\, in the AMR discussion.

SUMMARY:Nursing Knowledge: Big Data Science Conference
DESCRIPTION:Learn about major milestones achieved toward sharable and comparable nursing data and advance a National Action Plan for consistent documentation and use of nursing and interprofessional data for analytics and big data science. There are 10 virtual workgroups which are working toward how to improve the capture and continuing use of nurse-sensitive data using national standards to to achieve the quadruple aim of better health\, better patient experience\, lower costs and improved work life of health care providers. \nKeynote: Longitudinal\, Patient-Focused\, Interdisciplinary Care\nRebecca Freeman\, Ph.D.\, R.N.\, P.M.P.\, of the ONC Chief Nursing Officer of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology\, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services\nDelivery system reform will change the way health care is provided and paid for in the United States. Reimbursement will be based on patient outcomes across the care continuum; optimal outcomes will be achieved through efficient\, team-based care that is expertly coordinated across care settings. Ideally\, the movement of information from one care environment to the next must occur. Nurses are natural care coordinators and an integral part of any patient’s health optimization\, but nursing documentation in some care settings is not always sharable and comparable with that of the rest of the care team. As care models change\, nursing should plan for an interdisciplinary\, shared terminology that allows them to be well-represented in the data that represent the care of the patient across the continuum. \nMore information about the event.
