The Annual Meeting is followed by the Leapfrog Awards Dinner to recognize the highest performing hospitals on the Leapfrog Hospital Survey. \nThis Year’s Theme is Patient Safety: Lights\, Camera\, Action! \nThis year’s Annual Meeting will focus on the HBO documentary BLEED OUT. This award-winning documentary tells the story of filmmaker and comedian Steve Burrows whose mother experienced a series of tragic medical errors while undergoing a routine operation which left her in a coma with permanent brain damage. \nThis documentary shines a light on patient safety\, inspiring consumer groups\, health care leaders\, purchasers and payors to demand change. This meeting brings us together to turbocharge the movement. \nSteve Burrows is the keynote speaker for the 2019 Leapfrog Annual Meeting and his documentary will be screened for attendees over lunch. \nGet tickets and learn more.
