DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, September 30th at 2PM ET\, the All Payer Claims Database Council will host a discussion on Medicare price benchmarking in APCDs. Invited speaker\, Dr. Chapin White\, will present findings of a recent RAND study titled “Prices Paid to Hospitals by Private Health Plans Are High Relative to Medicare and Vary Widely” which will precede a Q&A discussion with attendees. \n Speaker Information: Dr. Chapin White is an adjunct senior policy researcher at the RAND Corporation\, specializing in health economics\, and a Pardee RAND Graduate School faculty member.
