SUMMARY:CMS representative to speak at South Florida meeting
DESCRIPTION:Noon on Sept. 9\, 2017 \nJoin us as we kick off the AHCJ’s new South Florida Chapter at our first luncheon event in downtown Fort Lauderdale! The event will take place from 12-2 p.m. on Sept. 9\, 2017\, at the Broward County Main Library\, 100 S Andrews Avenue (6th floor). \nThe event includes guest speaker Angela Brice-Smith\, deputy consortium administrator for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ southern region\, who will provide the latest updates on chronic care management\, the CMS’ quality payment program\, and opioid abuse\, a public health problem that has and continues to affect people in South Florida. Brice-Smith will be available for questions before and after her presentation.  \nA pre-payment fee of $10 will cover the cost of lunch if paid by Sept. 5. Thereafter\, the lunch fee will be $15.
