DESCRIPTION:The need for reliable and secure health information has become increasingly more important as health care organizations continue to face and grapple with some of the biggest changes in the industry and as patient engagement becomes more critical. The 88th AHIMA Convention and Exhibit will explore the many ways in which health information professionals must persistently think big to launch our future and the future or our organizations. \nHealth care professionals will gather at the AHIMA Convention for interactive presentations\, panel discussions and open forums to discuss how information should be governed for healthcare purposes.

SUMMARY:Financing Public Health Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The National Academies of Sciences\, Engineering\, and Medicine in Washington\, D.C.\, holds a workshop to examine “the conditions … needed to ensure the success of modified financing structures designed to advance population health and health equity.”  \nThe workshop\, titled “Building Sustainable Financing Structures for Population Health\,” will also take a historical look at such financing as well as the results from various pilot programs.  Participants can attend in person or online; registration is here.
