Health Journalism 2006 - Missouri Fellowships
Made possible with support from the Missouri Foundation for Health
Thanks to the generous support of the Missouri Foundation for Health, fellowships to the 2006 conference in Houston will be made available for up to 20 professional journalists in Missouri and two journalism students studying in Missouri.
Fellowships include coverage of all registration fees, a year's membership (new or extended) in the Association and up to $600 in travel and lodging costs.
Don't worry that your newsroom is too small to rate notice. At least half of the fellowships will be awarded to journalists working outside the St. Louis and Kansas City metro areas.
Fellowships are open to full-time print, broadcast and online journalists and part-timers or freelancers who derive the majority of their income from journalism. The student fellowships are open to full-time college or university students studying journalism or mass communication.
The application form and accompanying materials were due Jan. 25.
