AHCJ-Missouri Health Journalism Fellowships

This fellowship provides financial assistance to journalists and journalism students who wish to attend AHCJ's annual conference. Fellowships are open to full-time Missouri print, broadcast and online journalists and part-timers or freelancers who derive the majority of their income from journalism. The student fellowships are open to full-time college or university students studying journalism or mass communication in Missouri. If selected for a fellowship, you may be asked to write an AHCJ website blog post, take pictures or shoot video of a conference session. 

Please note: For 2023, this fellowship covers two nights of hotel, registration and one year of membership. It does not include travel to St. Louis.

Students will be asked to share a room with another student fellow.

Fellowship includes:

  • conference registration fee

  • one year's membership in AHCJ (new or extended)

  • up to two nights in conference hotel (Wed.-Sat.)

Deadline for application is Feb. 1, 2023, at noon CT.
