AHCJ-Texas Health Journalism Fellowships

AHCJ, with support from Episcopal Health Foundation, St. David’s Foundation, Arnold Ventures, Methodist Healthcare Ministries, and Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute, provides financial assistance to a limited number of journalists who wish to attend AHCJ's annual conference. Fellowships are open to full-time Texas print, broadcast and online journalists and part-timers or freelancers who derive the majority of their income from journalism.

Fellowship includes:

  • conference registration fee

  • one year's membership in AHCJ (new or extended)

  • up to four nights in conference hotel (Wed.-Sat.)

  • up to $400 for travel assistance within the continental United States. This may not cover ALL travel costs.
