The meeting will focus on evidence-based treatments of late-life mental illness, specifically with a focus on empowering health care providers, patients, and families with the information and tools they need for quality mental health care.
A plenary session will feature author and consumer advocate Kathy Cronkite discussing the issues of today’s mental health care climate. Other sessions will deal with sleep and circadian rhythms in late-life mental health, various aspects of dementia and treatment, depression and new research into late-life schizophrenia, as well as suicide in older adults.
