The Association of Health Care Journalists’ DC Chapter and the Alliance for Health Reform will hold a reporters’ roundtable on Covering the ACA Marketplaces.
With the marketplaces scheduled to launch Oct. 1, no topic is as newsy, complicated and filled with political spin. Come learn about some best ways to cover the new exchanges, best questions to ask and sources to contact.
Our panelists will include Julie Rovner of NPR, Sarah Kliff of The Washington Post and Joanne Kenen of Politico and AHCJ's health reform topic leader. Sabrina Corlette, research professor and project director of the Center on Health Insurance Reforms at Georgetown University’s Health Policy Institute, will answer your questions about insurance changes in the law and how the marketplaces will work.
Most of the evening will be a discussion and question and answer session with attendees. Moderators will be AHCJ board member Phil Galewitz of Kaiser Health News, and Marilyn Serafini of the Alliance for Health Reform.
Please RSVP to either mserafini@allhealth.org or pgalewitz@kff.org by Sept 11. Space is limited.
This briefing is sponsored by AHCJ, the Alliance for Health Reform and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
