D.C. Chapter: Health journalists meet-the-doctors night |

You’re invited to an informal meeting with the policy and communications officials from some of the nation’s leading physician advocacy groups, including the American Medical Association, The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology and the American Osteopathic Association.
You’ll get face time with the voices behind the organizations to learn about the issues the physician groups are dealing with on Capitol Hill and elsewhere. You’ll also learn the best way to get information from them to find stories and how to reach doctors on deadline.
Come to network and have a glass of wine with other DC-area health reporters and learn more about what AHCJ has to offer.
When: 6:15 p.m.-7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2
Where: Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, 1330 G Street NW (1/2 block west of Metro Center)
We will finish by 7:45 to leave time to grab drinks and appetizers at the nearby Laughing Man Tavern.
