AHCJ's Washington, D.C., chapter to meet with HHS public affairs team

Join us for an informal happy hour networking event with the public affairs team from the Department of Health and Human Services from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13  on the outdoor patio at Poste Brasserie in downtown D.C.

Poste is located behind the Hotel Monaco at 555 8th St. NW., just south of the corner of F and 8th St. Gallery Place metro is one block away and Metro Center is three blocks away.

Come meet some fellow D.C. area health writers, learn what's going on at AHCJ and meet some of the HHS media team you may only know through email and conference calls. Some of the newest members of the HHS team will be there including Erin Shields from HHS, Brian Cook from CMS and Nick Papas, White House health reform spokesman.

Poste has drink and food specials until 7 p.m. The event is open to all health journalists.
