This panel, presented at the California Chicano News Media Association's Journalism Opportunities Conference, will help reporters who don't normally cover health learn how to cover the health angles on their beats.
The panel, 10 a.m. to noon at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles (506 S. Grand Ave.), will feature experienced journalists who cover general assignment, business and politics and have proven adept at covering health issues on those beats.
