Meet the speakers…
Agent Trebor Randle is Special Agent in Charge of the Child Fatality Review Unit of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) where she oversees the work of the State Child Fatality Review Panel. Randle also is responsible for implementing state-wide initiatives aimed at preventing the deaths of children in Georgia. In her 21 years with the GBI, Randle has risen through the ranks from Narcotics Agent to Special Agent and later Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Region 3 Field Office in Americus. Before joining GBI, she was Deputy Marshal with the Muscogee County Marshal’s Department.
Dr. Deb Stone is a Behavioral Scientist in the Division of Violence Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she oversees research studies evaluating the effectiveness of suicide prevention interventions, heads up CDC’s new State of the State, Territorial, and Tribal Suicide Prevention environmental scan, researches the risk and protective factors contributing to suicide, and led the development of CDC’s 2017 report, Preventing Suicide: A Technical Package of Policy, Programs, and Practices.
