![]() |
02/18/15 Washington, DC |
The Association of Health Care Journalists’ Washington, D.C., Chapter and the New York University's Academic Center in Washington, D.C., invite you to a discussion about how journalists can cover the upcoming Supreme Court case on subsidies provided under the Affordable Care Act.
Hear about the legal, economic and political consequences of the court decision that could imperil health care coverage for millions.
Three experts will join us to help frame the discussion and answer questions:
- Tom Goldstein, an attorney and founder of SCOTUSblog
-
Christine Eibner, a senior economist at Rand Corp.
- Thomas Miller, a fellow at the American Enterprise Institute
A health/science journalism class from NYU will also join us.
When: Wednesday, Feb. 18
Networking: 6-6:30 p.m. The discussion will be 6:30-7:45 p.m.
Where: NYU DC campus at 1307 L St. NW.
Four blocks from Metro Center. Meeting will likely be in downstairs auditorium.
Drinks, snacks and networking will precede the discussion. After the discussion, those interested are invited to gather next door at Maddy’s Bar and Grill. All journalists are invited, though we hope non-AHCJ members will consider the many benefits of joining.
Please RSVP by Feb. 13 to pgalewitz@kff.org
