Bio
I’m a veteran writer/editor, mostly for trade/specialty publications, print and web, as well as an experienced digital typesetter. Master’s in journalism from Northwestern University.
Currently, I’m a long-time contributing writer for Reuters Health, having written more than 725 news stories for them, and a copy-editor for Harvard Health Publications, for whom I’ve worked on more than 30 varied health monographs, from online reports of 7,000 to 10,000 words to print publications of about 20,000 to 30,000 words. In the past couple of years, I’ve also been a contributing writer for @PointofCare (both medical news stories and content based on clinical guidelines) and a writer of abstracts for the Center for Medical Education. Previously, I was a contributing editor for Medical Economics, a contributing writer for Managed Healthcare Executive and a contributing writer for the Center for Rehabilitation Outcomes Research at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab).
