I write on medicine, health care and social issues for publications, nonprofit organizations, hospitals, universities, think tanks and others. My clients include Cancer Health, the Center for Health Care Strategies, The New York Community Trust, Living Beyond Breast Cancer, Sidney Kimmel Medical College/Thomas Jefferson University, AAMCNews, Georgetown Univ. McCourt School of Public Policy, Geisinger, Next Avenue and Rutgers University. I’m experienced in feature and news articles, web content, reports, profiles, books, ghostwriting and more. I’ve won national awards for my work including, in 2018, an ASJA (Amer. Society of Journalists and Authors) award for my AAMCNews article on patient bigotry. The third edition of my nonfiction book on acquaintance rape and date rape was issued in 2019. I write for publications and clients throughout the U.S. and beyond. I also volunteer with a local food cupboard and library support organization.
