The conference will be at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, 2233 S. Martin L. King Drive in Chicago. To get the discounted room rate of $139 plus tax per night, please make your hotel reservation by Friday, March 26 (after that date, if rooms are still available, the price will be higher).

Set-up: Thursday, April 22, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (the exhibit hall IS NOT open to conference attendees on Thursday)
Don’t forget to sign-up for wireless Internet access when you register to exhibit. The fee is a real bargain at $125 for the entire conference. But you must sign up at the time you register – we cannot offer this price on site
The conference will kickoff with an opening session and reception on Thursday evening. Whether this is your first conference or you are a longtime exhibitor, please join us for networking with AHCJ members, sponsors and other exhibitors at this kickoff event.
We invite you to consider sponsorship of the conference, which comes with exhibitor privileges. We provide appropriate recognition through our marketing efforts before and during the conference. The earlier you become a sponsor, the more bang you’ll get for your buck. Each year, the generosity of our sponsors is what makes our conference such a tremendous success. This conference will offer you the opportunity to develop long-lasting relationships with journalists who are eager to hear what you have to offer. You will uncover new prospects and leads, fortify relationships, gain exposure and save both time and energy by meeting a targeted audience. We have fabulous space this year and are pleased to offer you an excellent floor plan with continuous traffic.
We tried something new last year that worked remarkably well so we plan to offer it again this year. We will have a drawing during a dedicated “Exhibit Crawl” on either Friday or Saturday of the conference. We will have drawings for a variety of prizes that people must be present to win. We encourage you to bring one or two items for consideration in the drawing to pump up your exposure. We will provide more detailed information as we get closer to the conference.
Assignment of Booth Space
Exhibit space will be assigned according to the date the Exhibitor Registration is received. When possible, AHCJ will try to accommodate exhibitor requests. However, we reserve the right to make location assignments according to space and the variety of organizations in attendance.
Full payment of the total contracted amount is required at the time the Exhibitor Registration is submitted. Applications submitted without full payment will not be guaranteed space until payment is received. Payment may be made with a credit card or by a check made out to AHCJ.
A 50 percent cancellation fee will be assessed for space canceled on or before March 26. No refunds are accepted after March 26. All cancellations must be submitted via e-mail or fax. No telephone cancellations will be accepted.
The Association of Health Care Journalists and the Center for Excellence in Health Care Journalism seek to minimize the possibility and appearance of inappropriate influence, and so have imposed limitations on their sources of funding.
