Health reporting boot camp for 2008-09 Midwest Health Journalism Program fellows

This intensive boot camp brings the 2008-09 Midwest Health Journalism Program fellows together with top health care journalists for in-depth sessions on how to report on specific health care issues, including:

  • Measuring the quality of local hospitals
  • Digging into hospital finances
  • Web journalism primer
  • Investigating the health of local nursing homes
  • Reading medical studies
  • Introduction to a medical library
