New York University’s School of Medicine holds its second annual Health and Racial Equity and Urban Well-Being Conference, focused on “Racial Equity and Urban Well-Being.” New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene Commissioner Dr. Mary Bassett delivers the keynote address on “healthcare and public health approaches to addressing racism.”
Other speakers at the New York City event include representatives and experts from the New York City Housing Authority, Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, New York University’s School of Medicine and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, among other organizations.
