Looking for a medical wiki? Here are 67!

Blogger David Rothman compiled an exhaustive, 67-entry list of medical wikis. Entries range from general medical sites (such as WebHealth or WikiHealth) to no less than five dueling radiology wikis (Radiation Oncology, Radiology Wiki, Diagnostic Radiology, Radiopaedia and RADS WIKI. Some are more traditional Wikis and thus open for anybody to edit, while others only allow editors with certain medical credentials.

Rothman offers a description of each, along with information about its intended audience, who contributes and who edits and any editorial policies that are in place.

Check out the site for links to wikis covering AIDS, autism, dentistry, medical billing, clinical informatics (or clinical research informatics, if you prefer), electrocardiography, evidence-based medicine, emergency medicine, the flu, immunology, genetic counseling, kidneys, medical imaging, hospital librarians, neurodegeneration research, nursing, oncology, orthopedics, physiology, rosacea, surgery and cancer, to name a few.
